For barbers and salons
Walk-ins, without the bench.
A QR code by the door puts your queue on the customer’s phone. They see where they are and roughly how long, wait in the café or the car, and get a nudge when the chair is nearly free.
The bench
The bench is a waiting system nobody designed.
- Who’s next lives in somebody’s memory, and gets argued about.
- Someone looks through the window, counts the bench and walks on. You never find out they came.
- “How long?” is always asked while you have the clippers in your hand.
None of that is a staffing problem. It is a queue with no way to see itself.
Scan the code. Go and get a coffee.
The code on the door opens a page in their browser. They answer whatever you ask, take a number, and wait wherever they like.
