Deleting your account
For anyone with an UsherQR account — staff and owners of venues, whether you use the website or the UsherQR staff app on iPhone or Android.
How to ask
Email support@usherqr.com from the address you sign in with, and say whether you work at a venue or own it. We’ll check it’s you, delete the account within a few working days, and write back once it’s done.
Signing out of the app removes your sign-in from that phone, but doesn’t delete your account.
What’s removed
If you work at a venue: your sign-in, your name and email address, the phones registered for your notifications, and any invitation waiting for you. You lose access to the counter straight away.
If you own the business: all of that, and — because the account is the business — its venues with them: their queues and tickets, codes, staff access, and club cards with their members and stamps. Your subscription is cancelled, so nothing more is charged.
What’s kept
- Counts with no names in them — how many people were served, how many stamps were given — with nothing left to say who did it.
- Invoices and payment records, for six years, because UK tax law requires it.
- If you work at a venue, its own records stay with the venue: they’re the business’s, not yours.
If you’re a customer
Customers don’t have an account to delete. A queue ticket erases itself 30 days after your visit, or sooner if you ask from the ticket; a club card can be left from the card itself. The privacy page explains both.
